Please guide me in buying 2 speakers plus sub-woofer and an amp for my 13 foot square home office (with TV and computer). I am adrift even after a good bit of research. My budget, room size and needs are more modest than in past questions I read. Also mail order is out. Lots of details and clarification within.

Sleep sounds: do you have any podcasts or music you find it useful to listen to to help you to fall asleep? Or recommendations which might fit the criteria of the podcasts I currently use to help me to fall asleep - calm voices, very few sudden increases in speech volume or musical interludes, subject matter which is interesting but not urgent.

I've got a Nikon D7000 to record video. I've got a Zoom H4n to record sound. I've got Adobe Premiere Pro (which I'm just learning) to put them together. What's the best way to go about recording and combining audio and visual during post to ensure easy (I really don't want this to be a pain in the neck, if possible) and effective synching? If it matters, I'll be recording musical performances in a controlled environment.

Wizard People, Dear Reader literally made me laugh out loud at work. What other (free!) long format audio parodies, comedies, etc. should I try? I am not looking for traditional audiobooks and I'm not looking for unscripted or conversational podcasts. I'm also not looking for stand-up comedy routines. Fan Fiction is fine as long as it is relatively well done and hilarious.

What's the software or academic paper that isolates sounds by humming them? I remember seeing a demonstration video of this where the narrator removed a phone ringing by imitating its trill. He also removed the guitar from the AC/DC song Back In Black. I think the title was "Isolating Sounds Via Frequency Matching" but my google-fu has failed.

Are there any flaws in my home theater audio plans? I own the
LG 50PK550 TV which I love, but the internal speakers are predictably terrible. I'm starting from scratch with audio as I currently have no components. I was considering just a two speaker solution, but I've decided after spending the day browsing AVS that I'm likely going for a full 7.1 system. Price to performance ratio is extremely important to me though, I want something I'll be happy with and that will last, but I'm not willing to spend $100s more for minor gains. I don't have a strict budget but the cheaper the better (for a good product).

I also have a Flip Mino and a slideshare account but I don't want to put the presentation online as its a course audition and very rough. Suggestions???

Could someone please tell me the original song that features the breath sound with delayed effect that you hear in
this sample (check at about 0.06). This is a snippet I recorded from a recent mix by MJ Cole.
Perhaps it's even one of Mr. Cole's songs.. but which? And if it is do you think the breath sound was created by him or was it sampled from older material? I'm almost certain I've heard it elsewhere.
