This is a recording of the CBS radio announcement of the Pearl Harbor bombings. I remember having a longer version of this exact clip, and right where this one ends an announcer with a classic American radio accent says "We take you now, to Washington". Where could I find that again? (I've googled, and all I can find is the abridged version). [more inside]

CORRR-ECT!

I'm looking for a sample pack of all of the words/letters/numbers/phonemes from a Speak n' Spell (and/or derivatives). I'm not looking for crazy circuit bent samples... just something I can piece together words/phrases out of. Surely someone has done this. [more inside]

Speakers on the cheap!

Calling all DIY speaker enthusiasts! I'm packing off to college next year and my anticipated roomate and I are both interested in building a sound system of sorts.
