I'm looking for a small speaker capable of playing audio files (mp3, wav, etc), that has a set of buttons that you can program each to play a particular file.

Recently I received an old hifi (stereo receiver with aux and phono inputs) and two EPI speakers from a family member. The system is quite old, but headphones sound great, as does one of the two speakers. The other sounds blown. What are my options in New York City?

In Windows Vista, under playback devices, I selected "Don't use this device" for the default audio device. Now that device has entirely vanished, and I can't get it back.

Recommend this rap listener a pair of small, great-sounding speakers (that I can afford)!

I've just hooked up an oldish minsystem to my PC, and lo! Speaker whine that was once a few metres from the nearest thing with ears is now glaringly obvious when I'm at my desk.

Speaker Filter: I've just received a pair of M-Audio monitors that I'd sent back for repair. The right side, which was causing me problems previously, has been repaired and works great. But the
left side appears to have been damaged during shipping. I'm not very happy with the company and don't really want to send them back again. Can I fix the problem myself?
