I'm the "everything that runs on electricity" technical advisor for a local band. We're in the process of wrapping up the first CD, and the recording set up is killing us. Am I missing something here with the Presonus Firestudio? How can we just finish editing the CD without it crashing every hour?

Is there any flash-based mp3 player that plays WAV files, has an FM tuner, records standard (44.1) WAV files from this FM tuner, has a 1GB or higher capacity, and is not much over $100? (I'm also grateful for any "almost" answers, since those might help me refine my Googling.)

A recent question regarding Record players got me thinking: Does it matter what quality record player you are using, as long as the cartridge is high quality? Can you hear a difference between a $100 and a $200 record player if the needle is the same, in regards to music playback?
