Our house was recently sold at auction due to foreclosure. I'm curious about the details of the sale, specifically the fact that the same bank that owned the mortgage won the auction (bought the house from themselves?) and also that they paid way more than the house is worth.

An elderly family friend has an original poster (known as BG074) and program from the 1967 Jefferson Airplane and Grateful Dead concert at the O'Keefe Centre in Toronto. He is interested in selling the poster and program, and I've offered to help out. According to
Wolfgang's Vault, "BG074 is among the rarest of posters. There are hard to verify stories that the original cache of posters was confiscated at the Canadian border by border patrol, but whether the posters were seized or simply put away by contented Canadians, this summer concert made a big impression." Accordingly, I've seen auctions and online memorabilia stores listing this poster in the $5,000 and up range, and the program for close to $1,000.
What is the best way to authenticate and sell these items? I contacted Wolfgang's Vault but they don't normally purchase individual items, and the art dealers I've been in touch with don't deal with rock memorabilia. Is there a Sotheby's of rock? Is eBay even worth considering?

Hi
I am in need of software for auction sellers. Something that will track my inventory, final sales, profits and losses, etc. I sell in two different auctions sites ebay and labx so I need something that is not solely for ebay. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

In 2000-2001, there was a video art exhibit at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. It featured neatly dressed American auctioneers talking in that high-speed almost unintelligible way, quickly reciting the bids to an audience that wasn't there, in front of a variety of landscapes. One was a stocky woman in a business skirt two-piece set walking slowly at dusk with a dark building in the back. Can you find the artist's work? Or point me to the artist?

I am putting together a Seahawk Tailgate Party for a high school booster club auction. The party is for 20 people, on a Sunday Seahawk game. The party includes brats, buns, chips, cookies, beer, soda (to be delivered for a game day party) So far in the auction item, I have a 5L keg of beer, the Seahawks party goods, plates, napkins, tattoos. What else can you think of the make this item look great. Can you think of an interesting container for auction presentation? Looking for wow factor at a low cost. Thank you!
