For AT&T, what counts as being a 'previous iPhone user' as far as upgrades to 3G iPhone go? I am a fairly new AT&T customer, who got a Blackberry through them in May. Because of that, I'm not eligible for a $199/$299 3G iPhone through them -- I'd have to pay $399 or $499. However, they are giving current iPhone customers the lower price. If I were to acquire an old iPhone from a 3rd party, and activate it under my current AT&T account, would that make me an iPhone customer for purposes of the upgrade? Or did I have to buy an iPhone directly through AT&T to qualify for this price?

does anyone have and use a SE k800 in the US on AT&t network. I need the settings to get on the internet I know its a triband and all that, umts wont work in America etc. But I've had a SE W800 for years and was able to get on the internet and that is triband also so what gives. So if you can get on the internet with your SE K800 and live in the US and use ATT please give me the settings or link to them thanks. and Also I live in the Philadelphia area so The phone works fine and once again can get on att with another triband phone.

It's come the time to buy a new cellphone. I have a RAZR V2 and it's falling apart. My Verizon contract is up in November. Just switched to AT&T "Elite" Internet service from Comcast cable modem in a cost saving measure. What's the best wireless phone service for the NYC area? My DSL modem is fried and out of warrantee. SNET SBC AT&T wants $100 for me to buy a new one, or they'll give me a free one if I sign a new contract. I'll likely be moving in three months, and a hundred dollars is pretty pricey when I can find used ones on eBay for less than twenty. I'm pretty technical, but the problem is that I don't know G.DMT, G.Lite, or T1.413 from a hole in the ground. What requirements should I look for in a DSL modem to be sure that it's compatible? I use an iMac and carry a Siemen's SX56 Pocket PC from AT&T. I recently purchased PocketMac Pro to sync the two, and contacts, appointments, and little stuff is fine, but I can't get a decent connection speed to transfer MP3's. Is there something I'm missing here? In addition, I run Virtual PC and can't sync through ActiveSync, with a USB cradle. Help me, please.
