What do you call those giant numbers?

Is there a name for the design trend (I think associated with brutalism) in the 60s and 70s where buildings had enormous, sans-serif italic numbers on the walls indicating address, floor or room number? These were often shades of brown, orange or yellow. I have seen numbers so large that the tops and bottoms are clipped by the floor and ceiling.

What is the architectural style of this home??

what is the architectural style of this house? It's a fixer upper that we plan to gut and try to keep with the style of the home as much as we can on our beer money. ;) I haven't had much luck scouring the net. It's listed as a colonial but it doesn't seem to be a "true" colonial? I'm wondering if anyone here can break it down for me. Thanks!
