iPhone user; I've experimented with exercise logging apps such as MapMyRide+, Cyclemeter and Fitocracy (most of my exercise is cycling-oriented, but I'm also looking at Kinect exercise games and, potentially, weightlifting). Is there a good combo app that logs both exercise
and food intake? Or one site that could possibly accept input/imports from both?

Siri is touted as an advanced piece of engineering technology, but as far as I know I can open Apple made apps and run a command. Very helpful if you figure it out (it's worth it), but limited indeed.
What are its limits? Can this be extended?
Note: There is no Siri API, or god forbid, SDK, to speak of.

I'm going to Kyoto for a two-day visit in November, but with only an iPod Touch 4 in my jacket pocket as I'd like to avoid bringing a heavy guidebook/backpack as I walk around exploring all day. What PDFs/docs/apps/downloads can help make my visit amazing, or at least easier?

I have a large number of books that I want to donate to a library or sell. I want to give my friends and family first pick at anything they want (my primary aim is to quickly reclaim the physical space used up by the books). I need a workflow that will allow me to scan the books' UPCs, etc. with my iPhone 4's camera and end up with an email-able spreadsheet
pre-populated with ISBN/Title/Author. Columns for genre, edition and/or year, and short blurbs would also be welcome.
I have a PC laptop with the MS Office suite in addition to the iPhone. What are my options? Thanks, hivemind!

When someone makes an Android/iPhone app that scans a food product's bar code and returns nutrition information on that food from a database, who made that database? I can see Weight Watchers doing their own, but surely not everybody reinvents the wheel on this every time somebody makes an app that does something similar. Does anyone sell access to such a database? If so, who is that?

I am interested in creating a simple Android app for my own private use, but never having created such a thing before, I'm rather overwhelmed by the dev info. Can you guide me? Or is there a simpler way of doing this that doesn't involve creating an app?

I'd like to create a map on the iPhone that displays multiple locations of my choice at once. Ideally, I'd like to also be able to route a path through them in advance. In essence, I am looking for something like
Community Walk or
Wayfaring in app format.
