For the last few years I have been using a spreadsheet in Appleworks . I am currently using appleworks 6 and for some reason now I cannot paste data into a field without getting an error message and any attempt to do a find in the document gives me a "could not find message" Anyone have any idea what is up?

Why does the AppleWorks icon appear briefly (and then disappear) on my Dock when I start or wake up my iBook? This is making me ridiculously cranky. Help me minimise my raaaage!

Mac/AppleWorks Filter: How do I grab or move the spell-check window in Apple Works to get it back on my screen? Some time ago I managed to move the spell-check window off of my computer screen to a point that I can only "see" the very bottom of the window (where it displays # of "questionable words"). Due to stupidity, I have more than two years' worth of work written in AppleWorks and saved as .cwk files. The application is no longer bundled with OS X, and I'm not paying for it, so what's the best and quickest way to convert the files to plain text? [more inside]
