I'm looking for an iOS music app that has one or more specific features and my searching hasn't turned anything up.. it could be that these things aren't technically possible. I'll accept that as an answer. But what I would like is the ability to see the date last played for each song and be able to view and/or edit the iTunes Comments field. I would also like to be able to edit the stars rating AND view the lyrics (the official music app doesn't let you do both).
I'm using my iPod's built in voice memo tool. It's ok, but I'd like one that is entirely voice activated. That is, I don't want to have to control start, stop and other features by touching the screen. Is there one that will respond to simple voice commands? If not, how about for Android OS?
According to my carrier, my iphone 5S had two registered data usages at 12:00am on the 15th for a total of 575MB. The problem is, I was asleep at the time, and the phone should have been accessing our wireless connection. So what ate the last of my data? [more inside]
I am researching mobile apps similar to Airbnb and Trip Advisor--essentially popular apps that allow you to (a) search and (b) book. Any resource that critiques or breaks down how these apps work is extremely important as well. [more inside]

I make Windows videogames, and my latest engine doesn't let you select screen resolutions. I could change it so it does, but I'd rather make a small program that first lets you choose resolution (and set fullscreen and such), then launches the game app. But then wait (I said in my head), hasn't someone already created this launcher tool? Please help me out. Have they? [more inside]
There are one million calorie counters in the App Store, and I've tried all of them, and none of them rise above "arguably adequate." Assuming that I've already tested all the big players—I've literally downloaded every app on the first page of search results—is there a hidden gem out there with an uncluttered interface and a singular focus on just recording calories consumed? I wanted an app, thought there would be a bunch of options, I can't find any. Educate me on the realities of getting an app built. I'm not a total tech noob but I am not a programmer. [more inside]

I'm looking for an app or other software (hopefully available online) that will help me to plan how to put large numbers of chairs, desks and tables and sort/divide them into different rooms. Do you know of any?

I have a Moto G running Android 4.4.4 that has a bad habit of occasionally deleting an app without provocation. This is a small bother normally (I just re-download the app), but this time, it has deleted Google Play Services, which is necessary for all kinds of things. How do I fix it? [more inside]

I'm hoping to create an iPhone app that's a travel guide whose text pages will include some foreign terms. Users should be able to touch a foreign term to see a pop-up phonetic pronunciation. But the programmers I'm considering hiring say they're not sure how to do this, and suspect it might be expensive. Can anyone smart save the day and come up with a solution? [more inside]
Free app/program/software for positioning light onto basic renderings of geometric shapes? [more inside]
I want an iPad app that will let me easily make a scale drawing of my back yard, and then export it in a useful standard format (e.g. PDF, EPS, etc.). I'm having a hard time telling of the "room design" and "floorplan" apps will do what I want. [more inside]
I'm looking for an IOS app that will let me play a song from my music library at a different (chosen) pitch, on the fly, without impacting song length. I know IOS audio editors can do this but I was hoping for something that didn't require loading, editing and saving each song before listening. Any ideas? (Case you were wondering, I'm trying to re-hear my music collection, and shifting pitch is one way to do it.)

I am planning to take a trip to Japan sometime this summer and I'd like to brush up on my very rudimentary Japanese before going. Is there a good app I can use? [more inside]
I don't think there's any way to uninstall the Google Photo bloatware on my unrooted Android phone, which is super-annoying. I've turned off "upload to Google+" but am angsty that one day, after an update or whatever, it might re-default to upload. I don't want Google saving copies of my stuff, and I am not reassured by their help materials, which talk about me "not seeing" the images anymore if I delete them. That's not the same as Google not having them, which is what I'm trying to avoid. Without rooting my phone, is there a way I can delete the app, or stop it from storing my stuff? [more inside]

I've become obsessed with the Health app on my iPhone. I get that it probably uses GPS to calculate how far I'm walking/running in a day. But how does it know with crazy precision, how many flights of stairs I've gone up? What else can I get it to do, and how can I get the most out of this app? [more inside]
I cannot seem to find a good app that will let me: 1) have recurring tasks 2) allow me to check them off as done (like disappear or strike or some other indicator) 3) presented in calendar form (not a "reminders" list). I don't ask for much. I have checked out many many free apps, none of which accomplish what I want. I'm sure this gem is a paid app and I will gladly fork over based on a suggestion, knowing my criteria. I have yet to find one that has all three of these requirements spelled out. Thanks!
I'm hunting for an app (ideally on iPad) that offers you a curated, regularly-updated feed of images of great design, for a daily dose of inspiration. The content can be drawn from pretty much any source: advertising, photography, web design, home decor, whatever. DesignScene used to do a pretty good job of this a few years back, but unfortunately got discontinued. Any ideas, guys?
Hi all, I'm looking for a great mileage tracking app to record my business trips. A while back i used to be pleased with Trip Cubby until it no longer was supported after an upgrade. I went back to old fashioned notes for a while, but it's now 2015 and there must be a better way. What are your favourites? Needs to supports european parameters ( euros and kms). thanks!

I'm looking for an iPhone App to track my spending, NOT budgeting. My salary is automatically split via direct deposit, so that most of it goes into a different account used to pay bills with the spouse. What's needed is an App to track the money in my personal account, which is used mostly for fun stuff, with a few minor things like gas or reccurring payments for Netflix, website hosting etc. Specific features are below the cut! I'm starting to get a better feel for all of the steps involved in developing each of these products, and so I'm wondering if there are tools that might help me keep track of progress on all fronts, keep everyone on task, etc. Alternatively, are there people or services that specialize in this sort of thing and can monitor all the threads of the project and make sure everything is always progressing in some way? For example, I want to eat 7 veg servings, 3 protein, 4 whole grains, etc. is there an app where I can enter the category and number that I want to eat per day and then as I eat them I can check them off? I can think of other uses, too, like tracking pills and vitamins or even household chores.
