Shoes with ankle support

I'm looking for women's shoes with great ankle support, something like a very lightweight hiking boot (that won't really be used for hiking) or a lightweight high-top athletic shoe. Hope me! [more inside]

how to increase strength/endurance with weak ankles & wrists?

I'm looking for suggestions about strength- and endurance-building exercises -- general types or specific motions -- that will either engage my super-weak ankles and wrists in order to strengthen them or avoid using said weak bits entirely in order to avoid exacerbating the existing problems. Preceding that, I am not even sure which route to take in the first place: activate/try to strengthen these weak areas, or avoid/leave well enough alone? [more inside]

Can These Shoes Be Fixed?

I bought some flats. The first time I wore them, they dug into the back of my ankles (on both feet), and made them bleed - it took my feet about two weeks to heal. Is there a way to fix this? [more inside]

My legs & feet are swelling up presumably from too much sitting at a desk.

I work at a desk 10 to 12 hours a day. Lately, I've been noticing lately that my calves, feet, and ankles seem swollen. I'm not in any pain and don't feel any difference, apart from my shoes being a bit tight. Besides taking periodic breaks and walking around/stretching, what else can I do to reduce the swelling? I get daily exercise, but I'm sure the long periods of sitting in front of a computer are contributing to this.

Little ankles, bigger feet - please help my shoes fit

I have narrow ankles and fairly "large" feet (I have to wear size 10 shoes in order to have a comfortable fit). But because of my narrow ankles, I am having a hard time finding shoes that fit. I have tried thicker socks, a couple of different lacing techniques etc but nothing seems to help. My heels always move inside the shoes! Please help me!!!
