What animated movies star awesome female characters? Bonus points if it's appropriate for a younger children (a 3 year old and a 6 year old), extra special bonus points if it's not utterly irritating to adults. Scary bits may need a certain amount of skipping over.

Looking for old animated film of aliens. I saw this on t.v. in the late 70's or maybe the 80's. Aliens that kind of looked like people were in animation and sometimes they would sit like they were meditating and then a big bubble would float above them, and you could not figure out if their soul was in the bubble, or if they were somehow procreating with others by doing this. I remember that the children were not suppose to bother someone who was doing this. It was a very interesting animation. I thought that the word "planet" was in the title but I'm not sure. Any ideas??

Trying to remember an animated film from late 70s, early 80s. I saw it in 5th grade classroom 1983. All I can remember is a musical song sequence where kids are in a forest (or bog) and are being chased/haunted by the spirits of the forest (or maybe one particular spirit?) the song is catchy and I think the chorus has the word "Who?" sung as if it was the sound a ghost makes. I think the movie might have had a slight pro-environment message as well.

It depicted a depressed factory worker who invented some physical, manufacturable form of Happiness. He was happy with his invention for a time, sharing it with friends, but eventually started his own factory making his new Happiness to become rich, at which point he became depressed again.
