I'm already following Chuck and The Big Bang Theory (via paid XBOX Live downloads to avoid commercials), and I'm looking to add another new series as well. I've been thinking about starting with Moonlight, but the unoriginality of the basic premise (Forever Knight and Angel both did it first) is rather offputting, especially since I still haven't quite gotten over the cancellation of Angel. In religious iconography, there are standardized symbols to depict "holiness" in figures--haloes, rays, flames, those little horns on Moses's forehead, etc. Are there equivalent "anti-haloes" for demonic/unholy icons? Any links to examples would be appreciated. Non-western examples welcome.
