Some weeks ago, I changed my phone's password while half asleep and haven't been able to remember it since. I've since gotten a new phone, but I really want to get the pictures and videos that were on there. Is this possible? [more inside]

I have a Samsung Galaxy for TMobile, with a fixed dataplan. Two months ago, my phone began burning through data. Can you help me figure out why? [more inside]

In Star Trek: The Next Generation
: Are there any explicit examples, in either the show or the non-canon supporting materials, of Data holding a specific image in his mind? Does he ever say anything like, "I am picturing ____" to explain, in visual terms, what he's thinking about? Does anyone ever direct him to "picture" something?

I've had a smart phone (android nexus one) for a few years now, but have always gotten by with wifi access only. I just recently bit the bullet on 3g access. So what new things can I do now with my phone with my newfound wandering internet access?

I'd like an explanation for how to turn off all data while roaming, except for push email. This includes anything that the GPS might use as well. As for emails, I only want to receive the body of the email and not have the phone download any attachments without my permission. I'd either like a good link or instructions for both an iPhone 4S and a Samsung Galaxy SII (Android). Thanks very much.

When trying to read a Sandisk 16Gb Class 2 Micro SD card (on my Win7 PC through a USB reader) it will show up briefly but as soon as I try to copy any files the drive itself will disappear, meaning I can't save any of the data (or pics) from it, so I'm looking for a way to keep the drive visible to my PC so I can save the data. (The card comes from my Android HTC Desire HD which randomly dismounted itself this morning and now reports itself as 'damaged' in the phone). Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

I live in a country where mobile data is expensive. I have a shiny Android phone and wireless broadband at home. Can you recommend some useful Android apps which operate in a way that minimises mobile data usage? [more inside]
