I have had an issue with a bumpy, red, ITCHY rash for the last 7 years when I use certain anti-perspirants/deodorants, and have been changing them up to fix the rash. I am asking for your help because the rash is back, I am clean out of ideas and am holding off the rash only slightly right now. Sorry for the long post, details inside.

We bought
this blanket and put it on our bed. We do not use a flat sheet nor do I *ahem* wear pajamas, so the blanket was right next to my skin. Pretty much everywhere the blanket touched for any period of time, but especially on my thighs and upper arms, I broke out in a bumpy rash. It itches a little, but is as unsightly as all get-out. And it's taking forever to fade. I washed and dried the blanket, and that made no noticeable difference. There have been no other notable changes -- laundry detergent, soap, lotions, etc. all the same -- so it seems like the blanket must be the culprit. I know YANMD, and I probably won't even consult with my doctor because really, what is he going to say? What I'm hoping is you'll have some answers or suggestions for me. Could there be some additive that's causing the allergic reaction? Is there anything I can do to the blanket that will Make.It.Stop?

Sometimes when I drink alcohol I get sort of an allergic reaction: skin rash (red spots on my face and shoulders) that feels a bit itchy. The first time that happened was about 2 years ago (never had that before and I'm 29 now) and now it occurs about every tenth (or so) time I drink hard liquor. It hardly ever occurs with beer or wine and it doesn't seem to be related to a certain ingredient (it happens with vodka as well as with Campari). Plus it doesn't seem to be related to the quantity of alcohol ingested. Maybe the cause is a certain kind of food in combination with alcohol? I haven't done enough "tests" to find out more.
What could that be and need I be worried?

Posting this question for a friend (obviously, since I don't have the parts involved). A rash around the base of the penis -- what could cause it?

Allergic Reaction to Metal Filter
I can't wear any kind of cheap metal. Week before I wore a belt with a cheap ass buckle. Now I have an ungodly itchy rash on the left side of my body from my waist to my knee. Anyone have any suggestions before I scratch myself to death?
And a doctor isn't really an option as there is no insurance in the ol' damnitkage household.
