A student at our university was recently shocked to learn that his mother and step-father are illegal immigrants who have been in the country for approx. 20 years. He was born in Mexico but has brothers and sister born in the U.S. His parents work, own a house here, ect. He has a job, is going to be a junior at the university and is planning on getting married. He has a Soc. Sec. card, but now wonders if it is even legit. He wants to find out what he should do next but is worried that he'll be immediately deported if he tries to get help. As a white-bread citizen, this is all Greek to me. What should I advise him to do?

I am trying to remember the of a SNES game I used to play that had been redone and was made available for PC. There was a post about it on me-fi about a year ago but I can't find it.
The premise was that your character was transproted to an alien word and you have to escape their prison and find out how to get home.
I have searched the following tags on me-fi: alien, game, games, videogames, and Nintendo. I remember the post mentioning that the creator was French so I even searched that and got nothing. I have searched other places with no luck.
All I need is the name of the game and I will be set.

I'm looking for titles of any movies
[besides Alien] that feature
parasites attacking pets, humans or other animals. I can't recall any names but I definitely recall seeing hilarious ones from the 50's as a kid. Bonus for ones that are old [but still rentable from Netflix], cheesy and gross [in a somewhat humorous way]

My SO & I were having a conversation yesterday that somehow landed on the topic of alien life. Essentially, I said something to the effect of "even if there is
intelligent life somewhere in the universe...".

I'm looking for the title of a movie where the setting is this:
A group of researchers (military?) are in a blizzard or snow storm in what I recall is Alaska or the arctic.
One of them is killing the others, and it turns out to be some sort of Alien or parasite. ...

Why is a blank stare and a quizzical, staccato head-tilt to the left or right Hollywood shorthand for "I am inhumanly evil/possessed by a demon/a liquid metal killing machine/a humanoid but emotionless android", amongst others?

Help me identify something from my childhood. I remember having a bunch of little "army men" style Martian figures between 1984 and 1986. They each stood about an inch tall, were made of rubber or resin of some kind (no plastic), and were basically a "Smurfs in Space" knock-off. What were these little guys?
