Anybody know why old-timers put black pepper in their beer? Mainly see it in 70+ war vets, but I suppose the question could apply to anybody.

How long after taking .25 Mg or .5 Mg of Xanax should I wait before drinking any alcohol? I've taken Xanax frequently over the years to treat anxiety, fear of flying, etc. and never had any problems. [more inside]
