Do short people get drunk more quickly?

All other things being equal, does a short person's blood alcohol level reach 0.05 faster than a tall person (because they have less blood and/or a smaller liver)?

What I'm looking for is where someone does a few shots of tequila and knows who shot Kennedy.

I'm looking for references - fictional and non-fictional - where someone becomes more psychic when drunk. Not high. Not drugged. Drunk. [more inside]

Learning How to Like Coffee, and How to Like Beer

There are two beverages that nearly every American adult seems to like, but I dislike both: coffee and beer. I would like to develop a taste for both of them. For morning caffeine, coffee's free at most workplaces whereas pop isn't; and beer is a cheap mood alterer; but more importantly, both are social lubricants, one that isn't achieved by drinking a soda while others get either awake, buzzed or drunk. It's been a while since I had either, but remembering the tastes, I think it's that I dislike the bitterness in each drink. [more inside]

Sorry, babe, but you're a lousy drunk.

So, I've recently realized that my boyfriend's habit of going out and getting gross-sloppy drunk isn't just because he can be an ass sometimes, but because he has one of them, you know, addiction thingies. How can I help? [more inside]

A Sobering Thought

Cheers!

I was reading the CNN.com article on the last Friend's episode and the last part about the "Cheers" live showing on The Tonight Show caught my attention. After reading some usenet articles, I found out that for some reason the entire Cheers' cast was at a bar getting smashed on the air. Jay Leno apparently hated it, and so did most commenters on usenet; except for a few that thought it was hilarious. So my question is thus, what happened on that show? Can anyone recall the antics? Kelsey Grammer drunk? I also heard that everyone except Sen. John Kerry was trashed. I have no idea what the atmosphere was but it would be neat to see Kerry at a bar interacting without everything being finely combed. Which leads me to question two, has anything like this happened before? The idea of celebrities/politicians being real and candid (albeit through alcohol, in vino veritas) is interesting, though it appears from the usenet post, being sloshed and "real" is taboo.
