I have a home network created by a dual-band Airport Extreme router. I have Cat 6 running from the Airport Extreme to a faraway printer where the wireless signal does not reach. Can I use this cable and an older Airport Express to act as a print server and extend my wireless network? If not, is there another device that would provide this function?

My friend bought an iPad. It works great everywhere but at home - apps take a long time to load or don't load at all. Apple says her existing router (Netgear) is too old and sold her an Airport Express. Can she plug in the existing router to the Airport Express (instead of connecting it to the modem) to create a stronger wireless signal or will that just create conflict? What else can we do?

Internet access at home comes and goes, but can be resolved by resetting (powering on/off) the cable modem. Sometimes has to be done once a day, sometimes once every 30mins. No obvious pattern. What could be causing this?

My iBook loves to disconnect from my Airport Express that I have set up in my dorm room. Basically, I'll go to sleep, go to the laundry room, or come back from class, and the network doesn't show up in my "Available" list anymore. The green light is still on (it's not showing yellow, blinking or otherwise), and the only way to fix it is to unplug the router for about 5 seconds and reconnect (effectively resetting it).
