Aggregated top albums of 2012?

There are lots of Top n Albums/Songs of 2012 lists all over the internet, but is anyone aggregating them to figure out what the overall internet consensus of top albums/songs of the year is? That is, is there a fivethirtyeight for music?

Click on this, HuffPo

I remember reading company guidelines that detailed exactly how bloggers (aggregators, really) at HuffPo or Yahoo must choose subjects and style. It was put very aggressively, along the lines of: if a story doesn't promise at least 7000 individual clicks, don't even bother. I can't find this document anymore. Help me, please? [more inside]

How does copyright law work with RSS feeds? Can they be republished?

What are the legal implications of re-publishing full-text entries from another site's RSS feed? Planet sites do it for mostly legitimate purposes, and spam-logs do it for, well, spammy purposes. But are there any laws that apply? The US copyright code doesn't assume the information is already freely available on the internet, so it seems like a grey area. [more inside]
