Identifying a 90s PC game

Trying to identify a PC game I played while I was young. I want to say it was a point and click adventure game with darkish themes. It was 2D, not isometric, and I seem to remember there being a level/levels in a silhouetted art style, and *maybe* claymation. (It's not neverhood.) [more inside]

You know Sloth, if you sit too close to the TeeVee you'll hurt your eyes...

Boychild has just declare "The Goonies" the greatest movie ever. He has requested other films in which "there is adventure, with a group" as in the group is all friends, or brothers, or have some other sort of comraderie. My mind has drawn a complete blank on other fine pre-teen/teen films that have risen to classic status. [Additional data point: Also seen and approved: 3 Ninjas.]

Not being chased, just making a break for it.

I'm looking for examples of well-drawn TV characters (from multi-season shows, preferably) for whom a major--but not solely defining--aspect of their personalities is a struggle with the desire to run away from difficult situations. Two I have in mind already: Nate Fisher (Six Feet Under) and Nancy Botwin (Weeds).

How can I make epic treasure on a budget?

The world is boring. It needs more buried treasure. What things could I bury as treasure - things with great and lasting value, yet could be obtained cheaply? (Eg, a spirits/wine chest could be inexpensive to buy, but eventually become a treasure worth finding after enough years have passed. Superstar backstage passes are useless as treasure (they expire), but are an example of something of great value that doesn't cost much money to obtain - if you can find a way to obtain them.) How can I assemble epic genuine treasure on a budget? [more inside]
