What free software can I use to open and convert an Adobe InDesign .indd file on Windows XP? Will GIMP do the job? Inkscape? Yes, I've read the answers to this question.

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 problem: I just installed around 3000 fonts on my Windows XP system, and now photoshop won't start. It starts loading the reading font part of setup and then craps out saying: "Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable." What can I do besides deleting all the fonts I installed?
