Recent Windows versions of Adobe apps, specifically programs in the CS2 Suite and Acrobat Pro 7.0, all run some kind of auxiliary program called "Cleanup" not long after they start up. In my experience, "Cleanup" always freezes the Adobe app in question while it does whatever it's doing. So what is this program? Is it necessary? And if not, how can I stop it from running?

Help me understand K4, the workflow engine for Adobe InDesign. How tightly integrated is it with the Adobe suite? I recently installed Adobe InDesign CS2, and then had to uninstall it. When I tried to install it a second time, I get the message that I have to "personalize" my software (meaning put in the serial number again). The problem is it never works. All Adobe's help site says is that I have different language versions installed, but I don't. I've cleaned the registry (as far as I know) and searched for any remaining files but to no luck. How do I get it to work again?
