Adobe PDFMaker and its attendant Word toolbars only work on an Administrator Account. Is there a way to make it work on a Limited User account? I'm on Windows XP. [more inside]

Take a look at this screengrab This is annoying as hell, and here's how I tried to fix:
-Reinstall of Office 2003
-Reinstall of Acrobat 6.5
-Deleted all Adobe PDFMaker.dot files
Then went to the Adobe knowledgebase and found this. Nothing has worked yet. What do you think it is? fyi - This is a Dell PC running XP pro sp1

Is it possible to convert or otherwise use Photshop plugins from Windows to Mac? I have lots of legacy plugins and effects from the old Windows PC here at work. We switched to Mac but many of the plugins are not available for Mac.
