Are there more fun ways to give away a variety of prizes at a raffle than just draw names/numbers from a box? ie: gameshow-style, competitions, etc. [more inside]

What are some really fun, chill places/activities for a birthday party in the Cambridge/Boston area? I've already thought of: karaoke, playing board games at Diesel Cafe in Somerville, and candlepin bowling. Any other ideas...? Thanks.

My daughter's having a sleepover tonight for her 11th birthday. Six friends are coming over. I had lots of outdoor activities planned for the dusk and early evening hours, but now it looks like it's going to rain all day so the backyard will be a mess.
