Suggestions on spot cleaning marks off an acrylic on canvas painting? I recently bought a painting on eBay, not terribly expensive, not terribly valuable either, but it's nice and I like it very much. It needs to be cleaned up a bit.

I've been commissioned to paint a mural on some sort of material that will be 20'x20' and will be displayed outdoors. What material would be most receptive to paint, flexible and long-lasting?

I'm looking for possible cheaper alternatives/ substitutes for
heavy acrylic gels for my paintings. The stuff I get at the art store is a little pricy for the amounts I like to use. I'm hoping there's some kind of (industrial?) paste out there that would act similarly. (basically, a thick medium that I can 'etch' then let dry)

Ok, this is nearly impossible to Google: Is masking tape/painter's tape easy to paint over? On purpose?

After being a brush guy forever, I'm considering trying out acrylic paint markers. I'd appreciate some insight into the paint used to fill them.

I'm trying to teach myself to knit/crochet and have found that one of the major barriers to learning is the yarn - acrylic yarn to be exact. It irritates my skin.

I have a stainless steel fridge and a toddler who is learning to walk. I want to mount a sheet of plexiglas over the bottom portion of the door to prevent it from getting dented. I would like this to look decent and be non-permanent so I can remove it when we eventually move. Any ideas on how I could do this? All I can think of is using some kind of tape, but I think that would sag after a while.
Bonus for suggestions on how to also stick stuff to the plexiglas so that I can post up my kid's artwork (the stainless steel is non-magnetic).

Artfilter: I've decided to take up oil/canvas painting. I have good artistic sensibilities, but no formal training and no supplies. What do I need to know/own?
