I use multiple google accounts, and their multiple sign-in feature is generally very helpful to me. I have a work google domain account, managed by my company, and a personal google account. Lately, when I have gone to youtube or google voice, it often associates to my work account, which I do not want. I'd prefer that my work account is only associated with gmail. Is this possible?

Not-a-lawyer-filter: My mother, now disabled by Alzheimers, set up a custodial account for her grandson (my nephew), to help him with college funding. He's 18 now (the age of majority in Colo, where he lives). The bank won't release the funds without a 'statement' from my mother - who is incapable of such a statement.

[UK-tax-filter]. I'm a resident of UK, though not a national of UK, EU or US. I work and pay taxes in the UK. Is it legal for me to transfer my money to a savings account in another country and hence avoiding the tax on the income from saving accounts? If it is not legal, how would the HMRC ever find out anyway?

Mac Leopard operating system: Can I customize the user icon and desktop wallpaper of the guest account?
The default user icon for the guest account is a male silhouette; I would like to change it, but it does not give this option in the system preferences like it does for standard user accounts.
Also, the default desktop wallpaper for the guest account is the outer space picture. It goes back to this desktop on every log in. I would like the guest account wallpaper to be a professional logo.

I've been struggling to find accounting software, online or PC/Mac based (either will do) that is suitable for a computer consulting practice. I need to be able to handle the typical basic things done by QuickBooks, like invoicing and estimates, simple A/R and A/P reports, etc. But that isn't enough. I need to manage multiple bill rates on a per consultant/per customer/per job or work order basis. QuickBooks doesn't do that, and I've tried hard to find out how to make that work. Any advice, hive mind?

What is the best thing to do with a small amount of money, around $5,000? Savings interest is almost a joke, CDs look attractive or maybe even mutual funds. Preferably the safer the better, as in investing it all in a high-risk mutual fund and losing it would make me cry. I've checked out "
Investment FAQ" and it seems as if CDs are the best. I know little about investing but making money doing nothing intrigues me. What would be an expected return on such an investment? Is it even worth locking the money up for something like $10 a month?
