I would like to pick a name for my construction company. I am living in Vancouver, Canada. I am looking for something tough and masculine as the industry itself. How can I find a catchy name which is not already taken?
Also, I would like to use the word "development" instead of "construction" at the end of my company name (xyz development) Do you think it is a good idea since its more general?

does anyone know the name of the pop song that appears halfway through the movie un novio para mi mujer (a boyfriend for my wife) argentina from 2008?
the english translation goes something like the stars are raining down on our bedroom...its the scene where the husband and wife are dancing in the kitchen after he makes her a fruit smoothie.
I'd love to know where I could get it...anyone know the title and/or the singer?

How often does the freight train pass by this house I wanna buy? is it annoying?
I wanna buy a house near here
and I am curious how often the trains pass by, if it will be annoying or not. Can anyone find a schedule of the trains that pass by so I can go stand there while it passes by and see how annoying it is? Does anyone have history or advice on living near train tracks?

I have family coming in for a funeral this week. Our house is the hub, so I'm going to be feeding a group of 10-12 for 5 days. Any thoughts on comforting foods, that are relatively easy to prepare for that many? I am a good cook, but will have to spend some time at work this week, so I won't have tons of time to devote to this.

After my grandma lost her shit with me last night, she's calmed down enough to admit to my father today that she feels like I can be really condescending sometimes. Eek. This is a piece that I want to work on improving, while I'm also learning to be much more on guard whenever I'm around my grandma. Can you help me be less of an annoyingly (unintentionally) condescending/smug person?

In the curious 1975 comedy Linda Lovelace For President
, there's a scene in which, faced with the bankruptcy of her campaign, Lovelace starts inexplicably chanting the phrase "Soda water bottle, have a banana." This is picked up on by members of her marching band, and then becomes a series of calls and responses. The scene, completely safe for work, can be seen here
. What on earth is this a reference to?

A week before my former roommate moved out her dog came into heat, resulting in my own ankle biter marking everything he could hike his little leg at. Apparently in his haze of lust he decided that bathing the house in stink would boost his chances of getting a bit of action. Defiled items include the back of my couch, my box spring and the linoleum in the kitchen (where I keep him penned up when I'm out). Also some bedding and other small items I'm comfortable throwing away instead of trying to clean.
Next week I'm moving to another property under the same management and hoping to get back most of my deposits (as well as keeping in the landlord's good grace) by getting the house as minty fresh as possible before I turn in the key.
I'm looking for some low budget recommendations on getting the stench out. I would prefer they be methods that you've used with success, so if I have further questions I can actually discuss it with someone who has experience with the specific method. [more inside]

I don't plan on having a baby for many years, (I'm 24 now). I have heard that it is bad for the baby's health if the mother gets pregnant at 30 or older. What risks are there? How can I mitigate these risks? What are the odds of having a baby with mental or physical disabilities? What steps can I take to increase my chances of having a healthy baby at say age 35? What other relevant things should I Know? thanks

I ordered a box set from an amazon user at the end of april listed as "like new" which it wasn't. Asked for a refund, and he asked for more details and pictures which i gave, then i heard nothing for well over a week. So i decided to file an a to z claim on Monday, then today (Thursday) he says how he had been locked out of his bank account due to some banking issue. Now he's all gung ho to give me a refund after i send the stuff back and drop the a to z.
I feel a little weary trusting him. He has good feed back, but it's only 6 feedbacks. Should i do as he suggests or continue letting amazon look into it?

Can't take the cold Northeast and wonder if Charleston would work? My husband and I recently moved from Los Angeles to the Eastern shore of Ct. for a variety of reasons mainly cost of living and seeking a closer knit community. Now that we have experienced a cold winter ( it's just starting!) we see that it isn't for us. Weather is a big deal and we thought we could handle it but the being stuck indoors, the layers of clothes, the desire to hibernate are all getting to us pretty quick. [more inside]

A first draft document (press release) I emailed to a new colleague for reaction and comment in a new organization I volunteer for was headed 'for your eyes only', 'confidential", and "not for release." It was copied and distributed to others and a reply to me with the explanation, "I assumed you intended others in the group to see it."
My disappointment stings. My trust non-existant. While I was highly motivated to do this volunteer work, in something I believe in and value, I fear future experiences will be as frustrating and discouraging as this one.
Anyone ever have similar experiences? Options seem to me to 1. ignore it, 2. Confront directly, 3. Resign.

Looking for a song for our Wedding!
I have tried the hum to identify
sites, and googled like crazy with no luck.
The song is new (2011) and "car commercial popular". It has no lyrics and sounds kind of like something Sigur Ros would do. I know this offers nothing, but it is like, "Ahhhh, ummmmm, aaaaaaa uuuuu". It heard it on the radio, an "alternative" station.
Its starts slow and builds (all songs I guess), and is quite emotional. Men are doing the vocals, and my last little evidence is that on the movie, If a Tree Falls, toward the middle they play a short segment of a song that sounds identical to the band in question but not the song. I check every song on the credits but it is definitely not there.

I am 28 and my husband is 25. We have been considering the prospect of starting a family in the next 2-3 years. I am apprehensive because I am concerned that I may too old to do this (I would be about 30 when we started -- we are considering having 3 children, so I would be mid to later 30's when we are done.)
I am worried that I may be too old to safely have children (I am concerned about pregnancy difficulties and complications). [more inside]
