I have a brand new Xbox 360 with the wireless internet adapter. I have an iMac in the same room running Leopard (10.5.5). I would like to use Leopard's "internet sharing" function to allow the Xbox to access my connection without getting a wireless router involved. In other words Cable Modem -> iMac -> Xbox. I'm looking to buy an xbox360 and some guy is selling a red circle of death xbox for 50bucks. It seems that everyone and their mother has some different kind of fix for this, I kinda doubt whether most of the posted advice actually works. If you have actually done this repair yourself or have witnessed it done first hand could you please give me some advice on this. The guy who owns the console now said he gets the three red lights (minus upper right light) and he fixed it himself but it broke again after a month, he didn't specify how he fixed it. I guess he broke the warranty seal or whatever, I wasn't planning on sending it back to Microsoft anyway.

Borrowed Call of Duty 4, for the XBox 360, from a friend, and each time I try to play a message appears informing me that I need to insert the disc into an XBox 360, which is where it is. The message is static, and when trying to do anything with the controller, the DVD control overlay appears. What's going on here? Google searches point to some similar experiences, but not much in the way of solutions. The disc has been cleaned several times and while not in perfect shape is certainly not damaged beyond playability.

I have Guitar Hero 3 for the Xbox 360, and think I might have broke the guitar (buttons are unresponsive at times, sometimes there's merely a lag, which is very frustrating). I thought it might be low battery at first, but putting in fresh ones didn't help (I even got the rechargeable pack, to no avail). So now I'm thinking of getting a new guitar for the game, but can't find where to buy one for the XBOX 360 anywhere. Is the guitar available?

I cannot stream media from my PC. The Xbox 360 will connect to Xbox Live, but will not pass the "Test Media" option. It always fails after successfully acquiring an IP address. This Xbox has successfully connected to streaming media before on another computer. The connection has been deleted from within the Xbox settings. [more inside]

I recently purchased an HDTV (Vizio VX37L 37" LCD; 768p) and an Xbox 360 (Elite); am I getting the image quality I should be getting? Specifically, there seems to be far less antialiasing going on than I'd expect; "jaggies" are obvious from across the room. The 360 is connected to the TV via HDMI, and the 360 is outputting 720p. I'd like to get an XBox360. I live in Japan, but I'm not really interested in playing Japanese XBox360 games. The two options are buying a US XBox360 and importing US region games, or buying a Japanese XBox360 and importing Asia region games (unlike Japanese region games, almost always in English).
