I want to upgrade a WPMU (WordPress Multi-User) install from 1.3.3 (a year old) to 2.8.3 (the current release). I'm looking for two Twitter widgets to go on a Wordpress blog. The first will show pictures of Twitter followers. The second will show a feed of other people twittering in reference to either the main Twitter account and perhaps selected hashtags. I feel overwhelmed by the amount of widgets out there, and I don't know how to make the best choice. What recommendations does the hive have? I recently discovered the Friends Twitter widget, but it seems to have some bugs (it breaks the frame in Firefox on my Mac). Also, any best-practices or lessons learned?
