Can I force to permit only one Chrome window to be o?

I have a habit of opening new windows in Chrome instead of new tabs. I'd like to prevent my Mac (OS X 10.9.3) from opening more than one Chrome window. I'm happy to have lots of tabs but not lost of windows! [more inside]

How can I get rid of a stutter (on a computer)?

All audio on my Windows XP machine stutters. Not constantly, but enough to make listening to music or watching movies annoying. YouTube videos, iTunes tracks - anything. Even if I give priority to those applications. I'm on a Windows XP machine with a 3.2 ghz Pentium 4 and 1.50gb of RAM. Realtek HD drivers. I've tried everything on the Web and on AskMeFi but none of it has changed the stutter yet. So I'm opening this up for debate.

Can I force this Lacie firewire drive to format as FAT32?

I've just bought a Lacie 160 gigabyte firewire drive. It's to be plugged into a Windows XP machine, but also to be written to and read by a Mac OSX machine. I want to format it with the FAT32 file system, but Windows won't let me. Is there a way to force the drive to format as FAT32? [More inside...] [more inside]
