I am having real trouble recording presentations on my Windows Vista laptop. I have this killer presentation on Open Office Impress and have CamStudio and Audacity. But, Audacity keeps crashing and I can't get CamStudio to record the entire screen. When I set "Full Screen" it just records a corner of it. I am wracking my brain trying to figure out a way to make this presentation work. I also have a Flip Mino and a slideshare account but I don't want to put the presentation online as its a course audition and very rough. Suggestions???

Is there any software that will take the input of a USB webcam, and (at a given signal like a mouse-click) save the
previous 30 seconds/45 seconds/one minutes/two minutes of video/audio to the hard drive? Windows is required, F/OSS is preferred.

My sister needs to make YouTube videos for her business. The camera outputs MP4 files. Needs the ability to edit and add beginning and ending slides. Output should be uploadable to YouTube. Currently using VideoPad (on Vista) which keeps outputting video with out-of-sync audio. Suggested software should work on Vista or Windows 7. Any ideas? (besides Movie Maker)

How can I a) crop off the whole bottom half of a video, b) zoom in on my subject after I've already made the video, or c) hide the face of someone in the video? While I'm asking, how about taking a video made on a Canon (designed for stills, so their video actual size is small, which means it pixilates horribly when you put it on youtube) and making it stay actual size when placed on the web? I'm on a windows notebook and hoping any of this is even possible. Thanks!

What software is best for video playing on windows? I mean a minimum intervention no messing around all in one solution like
Perian for Mac or the win32-codecs packages for Linux. Some kind of all in one solution that you install then windows does the right thing when you double click on a video file ever more and you don't have to think about it ever again? I know about VLC and while it's generally excellent, the user interface is a little clunky and I'd rather not have to force users to fiddle with default media player settings.
