Is there a simple way, on the Web, to research how each member in both the House of Representatives and Senate voted on a bill? Specifically, I am looking for how Nancy Bean (Illinois) voted on the recent Health Care Bill. Thanks in advance.

I voted today but my precinct didn't hand out "I voted!" stickers, and it made me sad, especially when I saw people elsewhere sporting them.
Why wouldn't my precinct have "I voted!" stickers? Where else can I get one?

I passed my U.S. citizenship test last month (woo!). But I still haven't received notice of when my swearing-in ceremony will be, and D.C.'s voter registration deadline is coming up (Oct. 4). Can I somehow officially get my citizenship without waiting for the official swearing-in ceremony? I really don't want to miss out on being able to vote just because of this stupid delay. So a while back I heard a story describing a "new" voting system that was being tried out in either Vermont or New York State. The major difference I remember was that this new system gave voters the chance to tell the candidate what positions they supported and, what they didn't though in a more precise way than we do now by simply voting for or against a particular candidate based on their positions on many issues. Does this sound familiar to anyone or am I living on another planet? And what is this system called?

We've recently moved from one Australian state (NT) to another Australian state (Tasmania), and have neglected to update our voting registration details. Aware that an election is about to take place in the NT, I started looking into changing my voter registration, only to discover that the election is happening this Saturday, and it's probably too late for the change to take effect! Am I likely to get into trouble for going to the electoral office in Hobart to vote in the NT election, given that while I remain on the electoral roll in the NT, my actual residence is now in Tasmania? Or should I just send in the voter registration change-of-address forms as quickly as possible and hope for the best?

NPR-story-with-little-to-go-on-filter: Several years ago, I heard a radio story involving a tribal election in which one candidate was represented as being for re-investing funds in the tribe, while another was for direct payments to tribe members. An tribe member, interviewed, said he'd vote for the latter, although even he didn't think it was best for the tribe or for him in the long term -- because he wanted the cash. [more inside]

I live in Arkansas. It's a Super Tuesday state, and I can vote in either party primary. Polls currently suggest that Clinton and Huckabee (both of whom have Arkansas ties) are way, way, way ahead in my state. I prefer Obama to Clinton, but I'm not in love with either of them, and, really, I just want to see a Democrat win the general election. Bearing all of this in mind, how should I vote in the primary?
