As an anonymous VPN user in the United States, are there any risks in using a Canadian server instead of a European one? The VPN provider explicitly states to not use the US servers for certain types of traffic, but has no such warning for the Canadian servers.

I've installed
Private Internet Access VPN software on a Win 7 machine and an XP machine on my home network. The VPN connected Windows 7 machine reports good speeds at
www.speedtest.net and streams content like a champ. The XP machine when connected to the VPN shows terrible speeds and buffers and stutters like something not so useful.

Office A has a TZ170, presently configured for VPN through sonicwall's desktop client software. Offices B and C have routers running DD-WRT.
Can the DDWRT routers (with both OpenVPN and PPTP clients) provide an always on VPN back to office A? Might this be accomplished by creating a new VPN policy specifically for them in the TZ170?
Alternately, could I replace the TZ170 with a new DDWRT, functioning not as router but only as gateway, VPN and firewall?

I'd like to supply my wife with the new season, Season 3, of
Downton Abbey as soon as possible. The complication is that it doesn't air here in the US until
January 2013, whereas it reportedly goes to air in the UK in September 2012. Is there some way I can (legally) do this? For example, can I exchange money for this convenience?

Every machine behind the client can access the server too, and other clients connected to the server. But I cannot access those machines behind the router/client from a machine outside of their network.

Using two Cisco RVS4000 routers to create a VPN between two offices. A tunnel is supposedly set up successfully, because the router says it's "up" and I can access the admin interfaces of both routers from both locations by using their internal IPs (192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1). Trouble is, I can't reach any of the workstations or peripherals behind the routers.

Please help me configure and secure my Ubuntu-based combined home file server/public web server/VNC server! I am building a low-ish power home file server, which will likely run Ubuntu 11.04 or 11.10 (possibly server edition), and I should be able to set up a basic samba share easily enough. But I would also like to use the same computer to serve a few basic webpages, and I would like to provide ssh and ideally VNC or RDP-like access from outside the LAN. I can probably get the basic software set up, but I'm a n00b when it comes to NAT stuff, firewalls, and security issues generally. I would also appreciate help with setting up dynamic DNS.
