Seen any good movies lately?

2 part question: 1. I used to be a member of a movie site which made recommendations based on your likes and your friends likes and movies of a similar genre, but I've forgotten what it was called. Do you know of a site like that? Maybe I can recover my membership if I can find it again! 2. Can you recommend a social network for the cinema? Preferably one with similar characteristics to the one i used to know, with a good number of European & British, as well as US, content & users.

Can anybody recommend a UK web developer?

I'm looking for a web developer in the UK, for a new startup business. I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to find appropriate companies - the site is fairly complex, and although both of the two companies we've found quoted us 10-15k for it (which seems reasonable), neither has much work of comparable complexity in their portfolio. Does the hive mind have any recommendations, either on where to find such a company, or of one with whom you've had a particularly good experience? It's one of the most important decisions we'll make, and it feels uncomfortable to be making it on no more than googling.

Help opening a student bank account in the UK

I'll be a student in the UK for at least one year. While there are many threads dedicated to unanimously deciding the process is a long, painstakingly near-impossible one, I've yet to see someone recommend a specific type of account and/or bank. British Consultate accepted my application but missed it was urgent!

The British Consulate Visa Section in LA today COMPLETELY MISSED the fact my visa application was entitled to priority service from UK-Worldbridge Service despite the priority service notice being the first thing they would have seen upon opening the envelope. My university in Birmingham has been extremely bad at getting documents to me and I start in a week and a half. Is there any way I can notify the consulate that I have made a priority service application and so it should be treated as such?
