We hired a moving company to ship our furniture/stuff from the UK to Switzerland. They said it would take 14 days. It will now actually take 35. All this while we've been paying rent on an empty flat it turns out we won't need for another two weeks. [more inside]

I run a (very small) UK limited company through which I offer software consultancy. I may soon be moving to Germany. Should I shut down the company and reincarnate as some different legal entity in Germany, or is it easier to keep the Ltd despite living in Germany? And how do I do these things? [more inside]

YouAreNotMyAccountantFilter: I own a tiny UK Limited Liability Company. It has done quite badly and made about 1000 pounds in the last year. My accountant has just informed me that he wants 900 of those to do last year's accounts and HMRC/Company House filing. [more inside]
