I want to paint the miniatures in a Transformers boardgame as a gift for a friend. Can people please point me to reference images for the models in this pic? The more, the merrier. TIA.

While watching a Japanese documentary about some kid in America (not famous, so nothing y'all would likely have seen), in the background there was a poster of the head of the Statue of Liberty stylized to look like the Transformers Autobot symbol. Googling has been surprisingly unsuccessful; does anyone know who the artist might be, whether that poster can be purchased or image found online, etc?

This is an admittedly silly question, but I'm curious nonetheless. I'm battling insomnia and the new-generation Transformers cartoon comes on the television. The presumed villain is a schizophrenic character, whose head appears to have three faces side by side, and he switches faces, and the different personalities battle amongst each other.
I've also seen this in some really bad B Skiing movie from the 80's. No clue of the name. But I've seen it other places, too. My question is, does anyone have a clue where this concept originates? Is it some obscure R.D.Laing essay that I've overlooked? Some folklore I am not familiar with?

When I got home from work yesterday, my computer speakers were making an incredibly horrible noise. When I unplugged them, the transformer was hot to the touch. There were storms in the area yesterday, although the surge protector plugged into the same outlet wasn't tripped and nothing else in the house seems to have been damaged. (The speakers were plugged directly into the wall, not the surge protector, because I had run out of room.)
So my question: would it be dangerous to plug them back in tonight and see if they're a lost cause? Should I just buy some new speakers and be done with it? (The speakers were expensive, but about 6 years old.)

Does anybody have a mirror to the ubercool Transformers video posted in the blue? The original seems to have gone down.
Much thanks.

I'm traveling to Italy from America in a couple of weeks, and I want to take my digital camera (Sony DSC-P3) with me. I went to go buy a power transformer and plug adaptor and the transformer said on the back that it was not for use with computers. Google and the Sony site aren't helping me determine if a regular transformer will be sufficient; they haven't suggested any alternatives either though. I thought I would try mefi travelers before I ask the dude at Radio Shack. [more inside]
