Help me track changes in InDesign

I'm working in Story Editor view. I have the track changes toolbar up. Track changes in all stories in on (I also tried track changes in this story), but no matter what I do, I either can't see the changes (despite using the eyeball/view changes button) or it's not registering the changes I'm making. What am I doing wrong? [more inside]

Workarounds for tracking changes effectively in Scrivener?

I'm a playwright in rehearsals for production of a new script. I wrote it in Scrivener, and am in love with the program except for its lack of effective change-tracking features. Ideally, I'd love to find a way to generate reports on a daily-or-so basis of the changes made to individual lines that I could email out to the whole creative team. [more inside]

Word 2010 lumping together comments and edits from different reviewers

I created a document in Word 2010 and I am sharing it with two reviewers. When I turn on Track Changes, I can see my edits in one color, and my comments display my initials. But when the reviewers add their edits and comments and send it back to me, their comments end up the same color, and all comments, including mine, are now marked A# (A1, A2, A3). I can't see where my comments end and theirs begin. [more inside]

Word Track Changes and co-authoring in real time

I am in a graduate class that requires deadline-driven group work from students who are all working together online. We have four groups members and will be collaborating on editing projects using Word's Track Changes feature (Word is required). The problem is that we can't figure out how to be in the same Word document at once while preserving the functionality of Track Changes. Am I overlooking an obvious solution? [more inside]

How to prevent accepted tracked changes from carrying over into an excel + word + outlook email to 50 people?

Hi everyone, Hoping someone can help me sort this problem ... It's a excel + microsoft word document + mail merge to outlook email to 50 people. I am trying to help someone out - this is is as it just as it was described to me: Track changes were accepted and turned off and the email looked as it should - so off went 50 customized emails. ..unfortunately the sent email then shows that all the emails are sent showing all of the tracked change revision markings! Sorry if this is too vague. Thanks for your efforts :)
