Due to impending parenthood on the part of my roommates we're moving. Because we're still looking for a rental - and it's slightly complicated - a real estate agent would be helpful. Does anyone have any good recommendations for Toronto? [more inside]

I need a lawyer in Toronto for Real Estate / Property issues. Specifically, the state of an adjacent property (in violation of multiple orders from the city) seriously affecting ours. Would ideally know the magic password to get the Building Standards people to do their job. Otherwise, any and all other avenues that can be pursued.

Perhaps a ridiculous question: is it possible in a major city (I'm in Toronto) to buy a small piece of land and build a tiny house (like the B-52 on this page) on it? What's involved? If possible, what are the pros and cons? Is it pointless, financially? [more inside]
