I need a recommendation for a hotel room in downtown-ish Toronto, hopefully under $200-300, with a kickass view. For this Saturday night.

Toronto hotels filter: I'm coming to Toronto at the end of the month for a week and need to find a (very?) nice hotel no more than two blocks away from Bloor Street (at about Yonge or so - I think the area is called Yorkville but I'm not sure) at a reasonable price. We're two adults, one shopping and one working, and one baby and the prices we've found so far are quite insane ($500+ per night). Thanks!

Greetings, my Canadian brethren!
I am travelling to the Toronto area (specifically Markham) this November for some business. Do you have any hotel/motel/b&b recommendations?

We are going to be driving from Boston to Toronto on a Thursday night and Friday with our five kids (ages 3 to 16). We want to stop somewhere half-way to sleep--ideally a hotel that is not too pricey but still decent and has an indoor pool. Perhaps a good breakfast, or just a decent breakfast. Where should we stay? And in general, if you needed to find a hotel en route from A to B, how would you do that (the second question is WAY less important than the first)?

I have business in Toronto next week and I'd like to avoid staying in a big shiny Hya-Marri-Omni. A location within walking distance to 33 Villiers Street (M5A 1A9) is a definite plus but not necessary. Price range: ca. 200 USD per night.
