I got a new job and it is quickly becoming apparent I need a PDA to get organized. Tech/Business: Say I were to conduct a feasibility study for social networking via mobile phones. I would like the service to enable people to define their relationships and be alerted when a specified contact is nearby (e.g., within 30m/100ft) - provided that contact has set themselves to be "findable" to that person. I recall an application for the Treo 600 phone which allowed me to dump pictures from my phone directly to my Mac bypassing the built in route which only allows you to transfer images by emailing them. I think I saw it on Gizmodo or Boing Boing a while back, but can't find it now when I search. Anyone know what the name of this Palm application is?
