What options do I have for an alternative remote for a Vizio smart TV (streaming Hulu/ Netflix/ Facebook access, model SV472XVT)? Is there a Droid app, or a way to use Bluetooth to access the TV? My old remote died, and the side access buttons are cumbersome to say the least. Thanks!

Best setup for watching web video on TV? I currently have a PS3 which I occasionally use to watch Youtube etc via the TV. I'd like to do this more (especially longer videos) but using the PS3 is annoying for this, and I'd like some way to set up the videos on a laptop or tablet and send them wirelessly to the TV. What are my options?

I'm looking for a straightforward (to use) learning remote control. Needs to control digibox and tv on/off. I don't want to have to press different buttons to control the different things. It would also be good to just have a few buttons (0-9; vol; ch+/-; power) rather than the multitude of options most seem to have.

Hello. I have lost my remote for my Sylvania SRT 2319 and am trying to program my Time Warner Universal remote to work with it. I have found the code and the remote will power on and off the TV but it will not control any other features. Any time I press the channel key or a number key the CBL (cable) device button blinks, like it's not registering as a TV button. Does that make sense? What can I do?

On American TV drama shows I have noticed that TV remotes make an audible click when a button is pressed by one of the actors. Living in the UK, I have never heard/seen this in real life. Do all American TV remotes click? Or is this just a dramatic device? UK TV remotes do not click. Why?

I need an iPod dock with TV navigation (or screen on remote) that isn't slower than a hydro-cephalic Box Turtle with a knee injury checking out art at the Louvre on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

User interface question: When I'm simply watching TV, pushing up on the remote's channel changer button moves me to a higher-numbered station. Yet when I'm viewing the channel guide, pushing up brings me to a lower-numbered station. Why the discrepancy?

My TV remote control went dead. I replaced batteries, still not working. What else could be the cause, and any suggested fixes? I went out and bought a "universal" remote and it too didn't work.
