I had my DVR programmed to watch last night's (3/22) episode of Breaking Bad, and the box crashed and didn't record the episode. The channel it airs on--AMC--does not offer the option to watch any episodes of the show. What are some good sites to download streaming video of TV episodes? Torrents are not my preference. Thanks!

Resources for Aspiring Online News Producer?

Resources for learning more about being the "web producer" (aka online content manager, etc) for a small-market TV news outlet? I'm on the verge of landing a gig as the "online content manager" at one of our local TV stations (network affiliate); they are trying to make a big push onto the web, and my passion for current events, love of my community, and 8+ years as a blogger (familiar with CMS, social media, minor techie skills, etc) seems to have convinced them that I am the right guy. For me, this is a Dream Job. Seriously.

The position seems to be part-time content blogger, part-time "in the field" gathering material/stories, and part-time business & analytics (who visits, why, stickiness, etc).

But with no formal journalism education/experience, I want to learn as much as possible as fast as possible. I follow some of the major blogs that discuss the intersection of news & new media, such as Lost Remote and Media Bistro/TV Newser, but I would really appreciate any other sources and links. Way to watch Champions League Final live online?

The Champions League Final starts in just over half an hour. I'm at work in LA. I have a net nanny. I can use vtunnel to get round it, but I can't access video on channelchooser using vtunnel. And there only 2 crappy sports channels on TVU. How am I going to watch the final live online?

I manage a Language Lab at a University and our satellite programming is on the fritz. As an alternative while we get a new system purchased I wondered if there was any online television programming in Spanish. We have feeds for Univision and Galavision but the professors have mentioned that these channels are US-based and don't really bring in the culture as much. Any other channels or anything I can offer them in the meantime? Extra bonus points if it's free.

Anyone every buy a large TV online? I would like to buy a ~$4000 50" plasma TV online. It would save me over $1000 by buying online vs. at a store. Is this a good idea? Are there any things I should be careful about? Tips, tricks, etc?

The TV in question is this one. I would either buy it from here or Amazon.

Where to find old Cartoon Network ads, probably by Williams Street?

Anyone else a fan of the TV adverts for Cartoon Network (by, I guess, Williams Street of Sealab 2021 and ATHF fame)? The new CG commercials are fun, and the old classics featured things like Shaggy doing a variation on the Whopper/Royale conversation from Pulp Fiction, and Johnny Bravo sitting around in Hopper's Nighthawks coffeeshop (having had his heart broken by Scooby Doo's Velma.) Hip stuff with obvious references aimed at adults. Can the adverts be found anywhere? Anyone want to sharez a link with me via e-mail? Thanks.
