Looking for old animated film of aliens. I saw this on t.v. in the late 70's or maybe the 80's. Aliens that kind of looked like people were in animation and sometimes they would sit like they were meditating and then a big bubble would float above them, and you could not figure out if their soul was in the bubble, or if they were somehow procreating with others by doing this. I remember that the children were not suppose to bother someone who was doing this. It was a very interesting animation. I thought that the word "planet" was in the title but I'm not sure. Any ideas??

I'm looking for movies and television shows that featured memorable, star-crossed heterosexual couples.
The man and woman must either: a) never get together, or b) get together only to have everything go horribly. No long-term relationships or on-and-off again romances, please.
Bonus points for obscurity, but well-known examples are also appreciated.
Examples:
- Red (K. Kieslowski)
- Titanic
Thanks for your help! :-)

I'm a child of the '80s, and I loved the '80s. However, I didn't develop a sense of good taste until about 1994, and as a result my pop-culture radar is completely jammed with crappy cartoons designed to sell toys, cereal commercials, and Ewoks. Can you recommend totally awesome movies/TV shows/etc. that will satisfy my '80s nostalgia, but are good enough to watch today? [more inside]

I've just started watching Six Feet Under on Bravo, where it's being syndicated. I was skeptical at first, because I knew the show would have to be edited for content, but I was halfway into the first episode before I even noticed any changes (at least language-wise). My question: How do they do it so well? [more inside]

According to the IMDb there are only 231 films (or tv series) in which the title is spoken by a character therein. That number seems rather low -- I thought there would be a lot more than that, especially considering that society that claps and walks out whenever this happens. But other than 'The Truman Show' I can't think of any more. Any other ideas?
