Is there a way to determine the THC content of my "Green Dragon" mixture?

I'm not a smoker, so I consume most of my THC by steeping 1/4 oz of weed in 26 oz of 151-proof rum.
(After a week or so, I strain the rum and consume it about a tablespoon at a time. It suits my needs quite well.)

I remember from my days of making homemade wine that there was a fairly easy way to estimate the alcohol content of wine by measuring the specific gravity before and after fermentation. Is there any similar method to get a ballpark idea of how much THC is in my rum?

Help me get an A+ in Urinalysis

I smoke a small amount of pot about twice a day everyday, and I've smoked more or less this much for about two years. I have to take a drug test in 2 to 3 weeks for a dumb job. I'm willing to quit smoking right now. What are lifestyle changes I can make in order to pass this test? I'm a 125 pound woman, does this change how I should procede? Any personal experiences with this matter? Should I work out more? Drink more water? Drink Cranberry juice? Should I purchase a product meant to cleanse THC from my system? I would like to be able to take this test as soon as possible with a THC-free result.

Does THC always have an effect when consumed?

Has anyone ever heard of an individual not able to experience the effects of THC after consumption? A friend of a friend claims he can't feel the effects of cannabis when consumed, only when smoked. How is this possible, is this common?

US Customs Trouble

A friend of mine had some trouble with US Customs after traveling through Europe. As it turns out, Lush soap may violate US drug laws. Customs evidently took her soap, tested it and showed it contained trace amounts of THC. She was detained for five hours, threatened with imprisonment and fined $500. So my question is thus: Is Lush in anyway liable if they are putting marijuana in their products without proper labeling? Is there anyway to appeal or contest the US Customs fine? Has anyone had a similar experience? I should add that the bar of soap in question was originally purchased in Germany around two years ago. I should also clarify that the soap is actually some kind of shampoo bar. She has used the shampoo bar when traveling because it's compact and hassel free. She's taken the soap across the border three or four times and this is the first time anyone bothered her about it.

What are the negative effects of Cannabis

Quite simply, what are the negative effects of cannabis? What are withdrawal effects from frequent use, possible health problems, etc. This sprung up from a discussion my friends and I were having and I can't find any reliable source (I'm sorry, I don't consider the government a reliable source on this issue, too many political issues). I'm paticularly interested in personal experiences, but as always more inside. I'll be honest, drugs have always fascinated me and I've done a lot of research on them (hisotry, use, effects). I've read Erowid, Lycaeum and countless government and institutional research on everything from cocaine to all the opiate derivatives. The one I can't figure out is marijauna and a recent debate with friends has whetted my appetite.

Basically, as I'm sure everyone is aware, there are two very differing views of marijuana. One side promotes it as safe as Tums to causing mental breakdown, anguish, being a loser. I'd really not like to get into a debate as to whether marijuana is morally good or bad, but does it hurt do it everyday?

With the disclaimer of a normally healthy individual, no preexisting mental problems, steady job, and who uses marijuana much as one would use a beer or gin at the end of a work day. I also realize there are inherent dangers with smoking plant material of any nature.

I could keep going on but I believe my question and point is clear. I know this is a touchy topic but I'm having a hard time figuring this out via google and such. And no, I'm not trying to figure out if a friend has a problem or anything, this is what it is, no hidden agenda.

Why did a lot of my friends stop enjoying marijuana in their early 30's?

I'm not sure whether this topic is a comfortable or appropriate one for us to discuss and I hope I'm not commiting a faux-pas by asking, but here goes:

I've noticed that a lot of my friends who used to smoke and enjoy marijuana stopped doing so in their early thirties. I've asked them why they stopped and they have said it just doesn't make them feel good anymore. It seems to stop making them feel relaxed and start making them more nervous and paranoid. What are some possible reasons for this?
