I have an IBM T43p laptop running Microsoft office 2003 (and thus, Microsoft word 2003). Recently the backspace button has decided to stop working solely within Word; I can backspace individual spaces, but if I highlight a section and press backspace to delete, it moves the cursor to the the beginning of the highlighted area and un-highlights the text without getting rid of it. I've checked as many functions as I can think of, but have found nothing.
