Wall<>Cable Modem = Good. Wall<>Splitter<>Cable Modem + TV = Intermittent failures where the modem goes off line. What can I do to improve this? Is there such thing as a lower power splitter? Better cables? And did my cable company make a mistake? More details below!>>>

I have a MacBook spitting out video via the Thunderbolt/Mini-Display Adapter port. We usually use another adapter to turn that from Mini-Display -> HDMI so we can run it to a TV.
We'd now like to split the signal to three TVs, all showing the same video signal. Doable?

I have a Dell E248WFP monitor. Every time it loses signal (IE turning off/on the computer), the entire screen will move about 1/8" down and to the right. This problem has been replicated with different computers and DVI cables. This problem is easily remedied by opening up the monitor options on the monitor itself and telling it to reset to factory default settings for "Position Only." Turn the monitor off, and I have to reset position all over again. I am at 1920x1200 resolution. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I will be online all day working so I will be available to provide any additional information, should it be requested. Thank you.

Are there any good & reliable INTERNET SIGNAL WIRELESS BOOSTERS on the market? I can only receive a very weak signal for my computer on the second floor. I have read reviews praising these devices to reviews stating that these boosters don't work at all. I would certainly appreciate any recommendations you can provide. Thanks in advance.

The only un-awesome thing about my new apartment near Tempe, AZ is that neither I nor my roommates are receiving any signal strength on our cell phones due to the low mountains surrounding our location. We all have differerent providers (T-Mobile, Verizon, & AT&T) and not a lot of money. Please help me find a cellular signal booster that doesn't cost an arm and a leg or more than $100. I don't even know how to begin.

What is wrong with my new mobile phone? When my phone goes idle after 15 sec of no use (typical battery saving function) or loses the signal when I am in an elevator (typical situation but normally survivable), it won't automatically reconnect so it's like I don't even have a phone. How can I over come this? Is it normal for "newer" phones to constantly be searching for a signal yet not getting it or turning off like this?

I am looking for a signal booster that will play nicely on my laptop which has Vista. People recommended EnGenius USB Device but from what I gathered on Amazon, it does not work past XP. I basically need something that I can take with my on the go.
Intel GMA 4500MHD / Intel Wi-Fi / 10/100 Eth is what came with my laptop. Is there a signal booster compatible with Vista?

My friends and I would like to observe the switch-off of analog TV. The FCC has mandated that all analog TV stations stop on February 19, 2009. I'm planning to procure a bunny-eared TV to watch the signal go dead. Can anyone help me pinpoint when this moment is going to be? (This is going to be SO much better than New Year's)

I have to listen to the radio in order to fall asleep.
I have used WHYY 91 FM in Philadelphia as my crutch for the past 8+ tears. We live near Princeton, NJ, and I have always had good reception through several previous address changes.
We moved 2 weeks ago, literally 4 houses away fron our old place, I have perfect reception all day, but sometime after 1:00 in the morning, I lose the signal, and the sudden silence can actually wake me up. I've gone online and confirmed thathe station is broadcasting -- I can stream the audio on my computer -- but no signal comes through the radio.
Then, at 8:30, I wake up and there is a normal signal again. I am literally losing sleep over this, so would appreciate any suggestions, explanations or help,

Some strange problem with my cable TV. I was connecting a new Sylvania DVR/VCR unit in my bedroom. I used to have a Sony DVD/VCR in that same place and the cable reception used to be just fine. First thing I noticed after attaching the new unit is that the signal quality is very poor. But anyway then I come down to living room which has the Comcast's digital set top box connected to the wall outlet. I noticed there was no signal on TV and box was displaying a 'this channel would be available soon' message. Usually that means some kind of bad or no connection. Before I went up to the bedroom everything was running fine. Did plugging in the DVR/VCR unit blow the cable circuit ?
