When I try to go to any Facebook page inside Safari 6.0.3 (running on OSX 10.8.3) I get this error message: Safari can't open the page "https://www.facebook.com/" because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "www.facebook.com". [more inside]
I want to make Duck Duck Go my default search engine (YOU KNOW WHY) in the same bar on my Safari that currently I can put the url or Google search in (I want it to use DDG instead of Google, or have a separate bar for DDG). [more inside]
I am on a mac, and reluctantly use Firefox right now for some of my work. Firefox on the mac has become so slow and boggy, it is painful to work on. However, I download a lot of jpegs from webpages, and in Firefox, you can have the file automatically open with one click in Photoshop (or any other software), without having to download, go to the finder, and so forth. Is that feature available in either Chrome or Safari? I have done some googling, but can't seem to find anything.
Can Safari warn me before opening multiple tabs? [more inside]
I've been using Chrome on my Mac and Safari on my iPad Air. Trying to get them both to sync with each other is a challenge. I used a Safari on Mac for a short while recently to keep the two perfectly in sync but I've since switched back to a Chrome on my Mac as it is just a quicker and nicer to use browser. On my iPad Air I've installed Chrome but nothing beats Safari on the iPad as it's smoother and uses a faster rendering engine. Chrome on iOS is a bit sluggish and doesn't feel comfortable to use. Is there a way that I can sync my Chrome bookmarks and settings on my Mac with Safari on my iPad?
I want the forward/back controls in my browser on iPad to be at the bottom of the screen, same as they are on my iPhone. I don't see any way to do this in Safari or Chrome. My thumb insists on doing it the iPhone way (and quite logically because that's where my thumb already is while holding the device). It is driving me crazy. Please tell me there's a way.
Last week, I started getting errors whenever I tried to access the NASA Technical Reports Server from Chrome. And after a few days of it working just fine in Safari, it started doing the damn thing in that browser as well. What's going on here? [more inside]
I need to export Safari history to a tab delimited text file, based on a date range. [more inside]
I'm all ready to upgrade to Mavericks (OSX 10.9) except for one thing. On Snow Leopard (10.6.8), I am able to open Safari's "Activity window" and see most video files as they're loading there (however, not certain sites like Hulu). From that window, it's an easy Option-Click to download said video file. Safari 7.0 doesn't have this ability. Is there a Safari 7.0 add-on or something that will bring this ability back to Safari? I just bought a new iPad 4 in Japan (along with a logitech keyboard case), and I frikkin love it! It unfortunately, however, tends to crash at the most inopportune times - I do not want this to turn into a dealbreaker. [more inside]
In Safari 6, I have a folder of bookmarks on the Bookmarks Bar that I visit each day by right-clicking and choosing "Open in Tabs". I'd like one of those bookmarks to open to a specific vertical scroll position on the page in question. Is that do-able? [more inside]
It's about 6 AM. I'm leaving my house at about 7 AM. I'm getting on an airplane at about 9 AM. While on that airplane, I'd like to listen on my iPhone 4 to an .mp3 file that will be posted onto the internets at about 7:30 AM. [more inside]

Something is rotten with my Internet settings. Chrome/Firefox/Safari won't load random sites like Facebook or Amazon and it's really frustrating. I'm on a Macbook, OS X 10.5.8. [more inside]
A few days ago syncing my iPod Touch with iTunes deleted all but its original apps (My fault for not noticing that the list of apps in iTunes had, for some reason, reverted to the factory defaults). While slowly restoring my purchased apps via the App Store App>Updates>Purchased, I noticed that ad-supported Instapaper was no longer listed. Googling 'Instapaper Free' told me that the ad-supported version was removed from iTunes and support discontinued sometime in April of this year. This has led me to several questions: [more inside]
Are there any Firefox (or Chrome or Safari, I guess) add-ons that will allow me to make a blank tab that I can type text into? In other words, any extensions that will allow me to take notes inside FF rather than in another program?

Yes, I've tried forcing an unexpected reboot, but I can't access Google, Gmail, or Twitter. Weirdly, Microsoft.com, Hotmail, Facebook, and Bing (and obviously AskMe!) all load with no problem whatsoever. And it's only affecting this computer (the only OS X machine) on the network! [more inside]

Are there any tools for blocking out useless & slow "features" on facebook? I'm unsure the last time I actually appreciated any facebook popup. What's the detail, exactly, with Safari's "...can’t open the page. Too many redirects occurred trying to open..." message? I'm getting a spate of them this week on the BBC News site. A post by Apple blames it on the site but doesn't go into specifics. (If the site has a problem, why don't other browsers refuse to open it? What's Safari doing differently?) Lots of stuff generally unhelpful elsewhere on the net. Kinda surprising since this has been in Safari for years.
