My ragged geeky orange shirt - where to get a replacement for this loved Mars gear?

I don't normally wear orange, but my favorite shirt is an orange (soon to be an orange rag) that I cannot find a replacement of. SGI - Mars - sold at SIGGRAPH '98. A year or so later, I tried to get one from SGI by searching their store and writing the company, to no avail. Anyone know where I can find one that didn't get the tons of wear my holey one did? Not much of a logo on it, just the small cube and SGI logo, made for and sold by Silicone Graphics. It had a rover and rocks on it, and the phrase "it's what you do with it" emblazoned across the main body. The neck was ringed with orange rib, though the sleeves and main hem were simple double-fold knit fabric edges of the finished garment.

Turbulence effects in Photoshop?

Are there any filters that can reproduce the turb effects created in Matador Sprite (1997) in a modern version of Photoshop (or similar)? A senior artist where I work uses a Silicon Graphics Indigo2 machine alongside his regular workstation as it runs Matador Sprite which he uses to create or edit textures. He favours the turbulence effects it has and its adjustable blurring brushes, as well as a few other features. Is there anyone that creates plugins for Photoshop that could recreate such effects or enhance the effects already installed?

Thanks a lot guys!

SGI: We're not dead yet!

What happens to the value of a company's stock when they declare banckruptcy and then exit bankruptcy? I used to work for Silicon Graphics. I bought a few shares of stock. The, last May, SGI declared bankruptcy. Now, they're exiting bankruptcy, whatever that means. What happens to my stock? Did it disappear when they declared bankruptcy? I have an Etrade account, but haven't accessed it in years, and don't remember when I last got any mail from them.

Is there something especially nifty I can do with a sexy SGI box?

What cool stuff can I do with my newly-acquired SGI Octane? I am the proud new owner of an SGI Octane from ebay. I bid very little money, on a lark, and won! Now I need to find a use for it.

I know I can put linux on it, and from what I read that would be a worthy project unto itself: experimental kernel, not totally supported hardware, etc. But after that is accomplished, it's a linux box, and that's not all that unique. What can I set it up to do, that would play to the strengths of this kewl hardware? And if it comes with IRIX still installed (not sure), should I just keep that and play with it? Other hardware info: R10000 250Mhz (dual, maybe... can't tell), 512M RAM.

Better than porn

Remember the default screensaver that came with SGI IRIX around 10 years ago? Has anyone ported that to Windows? I had the privilege of working on an SGI Indigo in 1995, but as soon as the screensaver kicked in my productivity dropped to nil as I was mesmerized by the screensaver. It was the one where these simple flakes would dance around in formation -- what was amazing was the very complex and organic way the flakes would move. I've seen many other screensavers that are, in the first few seconds, more graphically impressive, but I've never seen something that is as fascinating to watch for five, ten, even fifteen minutes.

I haven't used an SGI since then, but I've always dreamed of having that screensaver on my Windows PC. Does anyone know if that screensaver has been ported or imitated on the Win32 platform? Or even Linux? And what's the algorithm behind it? I can't imagine how someone would program something that behaves so organically.
