I'm looking for a standard solution to provide minimal ad-hoc reporting functionality. I am an inexperienced sysadmin who spends a large portion of his day writing similar reports for my users. I am looking for a solution that will allow me to publish reports that can be modified by non technical users. My primary goal is to find the most "industry standard" solution, so that I know that it will have plenty of community support. More than just finding a good solution, I'd really like to find a good solution with a recognized name behind it. Flexibility and ease of use are my secondary interests.

SAS guru question: Is there an easy way to turn voluminous txt multi-page SAS reports generated with PROC REPORT back into a series "one observation per row" SAS tables? I just had a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with a doctor. This is the reason most people do NOT go to doctors. It kinda makes me not want to go to a doctor.
Let me give you the whole story so you can assess the situation, get really mad, and provide me with constructive advice. If you don't feel like reading it all, scroll to the bottom and tell me what I should do if I am unsatisfied with the quality of care from a doctor. [more inside]

We're meant to do all of our University assignments with Harvard Referencing. Easy enough. Did the President's Advisory Panel on Tax Reform radically change their plans at the last minute? I read through the first few chapters of their report (released November 1), and then googled to try to find some independent analysis. Several of the top links are angry articles from around October 14, talking about how the panel is going to recommend nothing more than a couple of minor tweaks to programs to pay for repealing the AMT, and won't "seek a wholesale reform of our tax code."
But the report that came out on November 1 seems to recommend drastic changes, essentially throwing out most of the existing tax code and rewriting it from scratch. (Not that that's a bad thing.) What happened between October 14 and November 1?

I'm in college in the U.S., and have a few state student loans. They were under a forebearance that I once requested, which ended four months ago. I didn't realize this, and ignored the mail that was sent about it because I thought it was the usual mail they send me about how I have a loan and ads for consolidation. I just recently got this fixed and the forebearance backdated so it will have another year from when it ended. But I now have two 60-day late marks on my otherwise good credit report. Anything I can do to get rid of them?

CreditFilter: Two years ago, not really understanding the importance of good credit behavior, I let a department store card slide for 180 days, twice (I KNOW!). This impacted my credit history greatly. I had previously had 4 years of good payment on two credit cards. Over the past year, to help recover and instill good habits, I pay my credit cards in full every month (read: no personal debt) and added a paid off car loan to my reports (15K). My CC limits have slowly increased but my score has remained somewhat the same (10 pt increase).
What can I do to get out of this rut? Some collegues I know have a sizable CC debt (around 15-20K) with less income than me but have great scores and could buy a house tommorrow with no problems. What am I missing and no, credit-fixing agencies are NOT an option.

Among the usual deluge of spam to my hotmail account, received a rather graphic solicitation for what appears to be actual kiddie pr0n. I'd like to report this but I'm not sure to whom and how, and I'm reluctant to google on the topic or forward indiscriminately. FBI? (slightly uncomfortable using their online submission form) or someone more local?
